Hydrotherm's packaged Temperature Control Units circulate thermal oil through the user process like press, calender, mills, kettle, reactor, oven, dryers. TCU consists of Circulating Pump, Oil Cooler and Control Valves.
The heat source is generally a Fired Thermal Liquid Heater or Electric Thermal Liquid Heater. Hydrotherm TCU's operate automatically. They include necessary controls. TCU's are available for heating alone as well as heating / cooling application. Control valves direct Hot Oil from the primary circuit to the user in a controlled manner to achieve precise temperature control while heating. Similarly, Oil is directed to Cooling Heat Exchanger in a controlled manner to achieve precise temperature control while cooling. Heating and Cooling are bypassed while temperature in the process is being maintained.
Typically used for reactors, presses, calenders, mills, molds, heat exchangers........ sized for production plants, pilot plant or laboratory use.
